Project Factsheets

Under the Northwest Power Act, the Northwest Power and Conservation Council develops a Columbia River Basin Fish and Wildlife Program that guides BPA actions in protecting, mitigating, and enhancing the region's fish and wildlife affected by the Federal Columbia River Power System (FCRPS).

The page highlights some of the many projects implemented by Tribal governments, states, other federal agencies, universities, and private vendors. Each of these projects produces biological benefits to species impacted by the construction and operation of the FCRPS. Taken together, these multiple and carefully coordinated efforts produce solid and measurable success, and contribute to a legacy of environmental stewardship and regional pride for generations to come.
