Report to present the findings of the Habitat Evaluation Procedure (HEP) survey conducted by the Regional HEP team.
Deliverables (recommended)
Rules and Examples (work element scenarios and associated rules)
Rule 1: If you are preparing HEP reports for multiple locations, you may lump these under a single work element. However, you may wish to break the work into separate work elements if it provides clarity or better supports project management.
Example:

Option 1 (lumping)

WE: Prepare HEP Report
WE Title: Prepare HEP report for Thompson Unit, which includes Bradley, Greene, and Douglas properties.

Option 2 (splitting)

WE: Prepare HEP Report
WE Title: Prepare HEP report for Bradley property.

WE: Prepare HEP Report
WE Title: Prepare HEP report for Greene property.

WE: Prepare HEP Report
WE Title: Prepare HEP report for Douglas property.

Location Guidance

Identify point at approximate center of parcel where Prepare HEP Report took place. The location point must be the same for all associated TBL Work, Conduct Pre-Acquisition Activities, Land Audit, and Land Purchase work elements. Environmental Compliance

    Public involvement is typically not required for this work element.

  • Associated Work Elements
    • Typically, the acquisition of land or conservation easements will be covered by an internal BPA work element, WE#5, Land Purchase.
    • The development of a land management plan should be covered under WE# 174, Produce Plan.
