Definition
Refers to coordination work focused on a local watershed or subbasin. Coordination which directly supports other project work should be covered in the details of the associated work element. Coordination work which helps identify or select projects and/or sites should be covered under WE# 114: Identify and Select Projects.

WE Title: Johnson Creek Watershed coordination duties
WE Description (one or more of the following): Coordinate watershed association activities. Plan and facilitate
regular watershed association meetings. Identify opportunities to enhance natural resources within the Johnson Creek
watershed. Work with Tribes, USFS, USFWS, NRCS, local conservation districts, NGO's and stakeholders to identify
problems and solutions within the watershed. Coordinate with agencies, stakeholders, and other entities on restoration
and enhancement efforts to prevent duplication and enhance communication and cooperation. Work with landowners,
interest groups and agencies to research and identify funding and cost share opportunities. Prepare agreements, if
necessary, to assign duties and responsibilities to the appropriate entities. Develop documents, press releases, web
sites, and other communications to impart information to watershed association members and/or the public.
